Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest reported news on a potential return of Premier League football.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page relaying news originally posted by Miguel Delaney in a report for The Independent.
The report claims that the Premier League has “developed plans for clubs to play televised games in isolated ‘World Cup-style’ camps in the midlands and London over June and July, in order to try and finish the 2019/20 season” this year.
Will this current season be completed or cancelled?

Just finish the season, whenever it is possible. Worry about going forward after that.

Due to the current global pandemic, all English football has been suspended for the foreseeable future. Now that the Premier League’s reported plan to play the remaining games of the season in an isolated group of fixtures across the summer months has emerged, this news has sparked a big reaction from Liverpool fans on Twitter.
Not sure if serious.
Laughable if so.

As long as they finish the season which is 75% done I don’t card how they do it no need to think of the new season fills this is finished

What do we think?
Health and safety has to be the number one priority during this period. If that means that no football can be played for the next few months or that the current Premier League season has to be cancelled, then these Liverpool fans will just have to get used to it and put the safety of others first.
