Liverpool fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest development surrounding the future of midfielder Naby Keita.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally shared by Reds journalist James Pearce in The Athletic’s Liverpool podcast The Red Agenda.
Pearce revealed that he believes it is “highly unlikely” that Keita will leave the Reds this summer as Jurgen Klopp believes “he can get the best out of the midfielder” at the club.

The 25-year-old who is currently valued at £37.8 million according to Transfermarkt, has been a sporadic player for the Reds so far this season having suffered numerous injuries keeping him out of action. Now that Pearce has revealed that he sees Keita staying at the club for the foreseeable future, this news has excited a lot of Liverpool fans who were confident the midfield man can become a more significant figure in the team.
