Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer news surrounding former Red Philippe Coutinho.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by David Maddock in the Daily Mirror.
The report claims that the club has “made it clear” to Coutinho’s agent that there is “definitively zero interest in bringing him back to Anfield”.
It also added that this comes as a “blow to the Brazilian, who was hopeful of a return to Liverpool and wishes he never left”.
Should Liverpool sign Coutinho again?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to have their say on this latest development.

The Brazilian left Anfield in the 2018 January transfer window for a big-money move to Barcelona for a fee of £130.5 million (per Transfermarkt). The 27-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal at Bayern Munich, where he has scored eight goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances. Now that it has been reported that Liverpool have no intention of bringing Coutinho back to Anfield this summer, this has gathered a big reaction from Reds fans on Twitter, who are happy with this latest news.
Yep snakes are not welcome back at Anfield I’m sure his back still hurts anyways

The grass isn’t always greener Phil. Jurgen klopp never buys back players that turned their backs on him.

What do we think?
It appears that any opportunity of a Merseyside reunion for Coutinho does not interest these Liverpool fans, who have seemingly washed their hands of their former ace.
