Still can’t believe we got him for free. This feels like daylight robbery

Will be interesting to see how he does as a manager. Surely he’s got to give it a go?

Worth his weight in gold, and we got him for nothing. Absolute legend is Milly

Wow, a leader indeed

The former Manchester City man is currently on 534 Premier League appearances, the highest of any current Premier League player after joining the Merseyside club back in 2015 (per Transfermarkt) where he has since made 209 appearances for the Reds. This recent footage showed the Englishman speaking to his Liverpool teammates in preparation for their 2-1 win over Eddie Howe’s side focusing them on the match.
This is what experience gets you! Have all the young superstars you want but you need that old head there to level the field for everyone, we need him to stick around when he hangs up his boots for the future

What do we think?
This footage just shows how much of a leader and crucial teammate Milner is in this Liverpool side. After making so many Premier League appearances in his career, he is definitely one that the Liverpool players can look up to and rely on for match experience.
