Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest official announcement from the club.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page announcing that Neil Critchley, the Reds’ U23’s head coach, has left the club to become the manager of Blackpool in League One.

This season saw Critchley take charge of two Liverpool first-team matches, their 5-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup and their 1-0 FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town. Now that news has emerged that Critchley has left the club to become Blackpool’s new head coach, this has opened the door for lots of Liverpool fans to share their thoughts on Critchley and his departure on Twitter.

It’s good that Critchley has been given the opportunity to manage at senior level on a permanent basis. The reaction from these Liverpool fans shows that he was a much-liked character at the club who will be a big miss to the fans.
