Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest update surrounding on-loan goalkeeper Loris Karius.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by Turkish media outlet Aksam.
They claimed that Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin was “shocked” to find a clause included in Loris Karius’ contract that stated he could only be dropped for a maximum of four games a season if match fit.
Should Liverpool sell Karius on a permanent basis?
Yes, get him out
No, he could be useful to the team
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.

I don’t think we’re too bothered if he plays or not. Has no future at LFC. Even if sent back he’ll go out on loan imo

The 26-year-old, who is currently valued at £4.5 million according to Transfermarkt, joined the Turkish club on loan shortly after his infamous disaster class in the Reds’ 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final. Now that news has emerged of his current contract situation at Besiktas, these Liverpool fans couldn’t resist in having their say on the matter.
Why would the manager be shocked, surely he viewed the contract!?!

Lol. If that’s true then the manager should be sacked immediately. How can you be this clueless?

Isn’t that admitting incompetence?

What do we think?
It’s clear that not many Liverpool fans are interested in having the German shot-stopper make a return to Anfield anytime soon. Given his performance against Real Madrid back in 2018, this isn’t really a surprise. But it just makes you think whether the Reds’ club motto of ‘you’ll never walk alone’ really applies to everyone at the club.
