The midfielder played 82 minutes of the match that saw Jurgen Klopp’s side crash out of the Champions League at Anfield which saw Oxlade-Chamberlain earn himself a match rating of 8.0 (per WhoScored). After the match, the 26-year-old’s performance caught the attention of a lot of Liverpool fans who were eager to share their praise for his display in the defeat.

What do we think?
It’s good to see these Liverpool fans taking at least one positive from their recent defeat to Diego Simeone’s side. It’s just a shame for the fans that Oxlade-Chamberlain didn’t manage to score in the match to help his team progress through to the next stage of the competition.
