Liverpool fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news surrounding Reds owners Fenway Sports Group. 

This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by the Liverpool Echo via Glasgow Times.

The report claims that FSG are “interested in investing in Scottish side Rangers. Multimillionaire businessman Jim McColl has claimed FSG recently contacted him to see if he’d be interested in teaming up, taking over Rangers.”

The FSG currently owns the Boston Red sox baseball team as well as Liverpool football club. Now that this latest news has surfaced from Jim McColl’s interview with the Glasgow Times, the news about FSG being interested in taking over Rangers has not gone down well with a lot of Liverpool fans who couldn’t hide their frustrations on Twitter.

What do we think?

It appears that these Liverpool fans are not a fan of this proposed move from their club authorities. Whether it will happen or not is yet to be seen but it seems it wouldn’t be a popular move with this Liverpool fans.
