This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by L’Equipe.
The report claims that the club are “interested” in bringing former Reds winger Raheem Sterling back to Anfield.
The report also added that Sterling “has no plans to commit his future to Man City if they aren’t playing in the Champions League and when current uncertainties are clear, the Reds will consider a move.”
Would you take Raheem Sterling back at Liverpool?

I can’t see it happening, for a start his wages are stupidly higher than anybody in the current Liverpool squad secondly I can’t see Man City selling him back to us considering he is an outstanding performer for their team

The Englishman left Anfield back in 2015 for a move to fellow Premier League side Manchester City where he has since won numerous trophies with the club. In 230 appearances for the Manchester club, Sterling has scored 89 goals and provided 72 assists (per Transfermarkt). Now that reports have emerged that Sterling could be on his way back to the club he left almost five years ago, this has sparked a big reaction from Liverpool fans who have been sharing their scepticism on Twitter.
Nonsense

What do we think?
Despite his success at Manchester City, it appears that these Liverpool fans want the 25-year-old to make a return to Anfield.
