Liverpool crashed out of this season’s FA Cup after they were beaten at Stamford Bridge by Chelsea on Tuesday night. With the defeat went the Reds’ hopes of winning the treble this season and Andrew Robertson took to social media shortly after the game to make it known he’s aware it’s not been good enough of late.
Goals from Willian and Ross Barkley ensured Jurgen Klopp’s side were eliminated but how did these supporters react to their defender’s admission that recent performances haven’t been good enough?
Has Robertson been guilty of underperforming lately?

What do we think?
As you can tell from the replies, there was a mixed reaction to the Scotland international’s tweet. Robertson played the entire 90 minutes on Tuesday night and his performance earned him a rating of 6.5/10 according to WhoScored.com – which on the face of it, doesn’t sound great but only Virgil van Dijk of the rest of the defence was awarded a higher score.
The £72m-rated defender, on average, has performed at a 7/10 level this season and we believe it would be wrong to overlook that when assessing his displays.
