Liverpool are chasing Valencia’s 20-year-old winger Ferran Torres – that’s according to Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness).

The right-footed attacker is said to be attracting the attention of a number of clubs including Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. Torres has made 35 appearances in all competitions, producing six goals and seven assists in the process (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).

In particular, his performances in the UEFA Champions League have raised the player’s profile. In our view, it’s unlikely Jurgen Klopp will be looking to replace any of his current forwards, but he may be looking add some further attacking options to his squad. There is much speculation regarding the future of Xherdan Shaqiri with the club reportedly willing to let him leave this summer (via the Daily Mail).

If a move away for the Swiss international is to materialise, based on the reports, we believe Ferran Torres could be a viable option.
