Some Leicester City fans have reacted with admiration to Marc Albrighton’s Premier League assists record for the Foxes, following the 30-year-old’s performance in Monday’s win over Aston Villa.

The Premier League’s official Twitter account made a post to acknowledge this stat following Monday’s game, adding that the 30-year-old has now made as many Premier League assists for the Foxes as Riyad Mahrez made during his time at the club.

Who holds the record of having scored the quickest goal in Premier League history?

What do we think?

Albrighton has played just 477 minutes of Premier League football for the Foxes this season, according to WhoScored.com. 15 Leicester players have played a higher total of Premier League minutes for the club this season than the 30-year-old winger.

Despite his relatively low number of minutes, Albrighton has now managed to make three Premier League assists for Leicester this season. Only four players have made more Premier League assists for the Foxes. It may be fair to say that Albrighton has made a positive impact for Leicester this season in the 477 minutes of Premier League football he has played.
