Leicester City progressed through to the sixth round of this season’s FA Cup after beating Birmingham City at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night. The Foxes hadn’t scored in any of their previous four fixtures (as per BBC Sport) but Ricardo Pereira’s excellent header after Marc Albrighton’s cross ensured the Foxes’ safe passage through to the last eight.
The draw for the next round was made shortly after the conclusion of the fixture and Brendan Rodgers’ side will now face Chelsea at home during the weekend of 21st March. Pereira’s goal was his fourth in all competitions this season and it’s left some fans calling him the best right-back in the world.

What do we think?
Since arriving at Leicester City in July 2018 from FC Porto for a reported fee of £19.8m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk), the 26-year-old has clearly impressed the supporters. This season, the defender’s average performance rating has been 7.5/10 (via WhoScored.com), which is the highest in Brendan Rodgers’ entire squad.
Taking that into account, it’s no wonder these fans believe he’s one of the game’s best full-backs.
