Supporters of Everton have been reacting to the latest transfer report on the supposed interest from the Toffees in AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Last week, the Italian stopper was linked with the Goodison Park club by Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness.
However, in the latest twist to the tale, the Liverpool Echo has poured cold water over the whole story (via Everton News Feed), which had some gutted.

Who do you believe over the transfer report on Gianluigi Donnarumma?Gazzetta dello SportLiverpool Echo |
According to the report from the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees ‘are not working on a deal to try and bring Gianluigi Donnarumma to the club’.
However, while some supporters were gutted to have cold water poured on the link to the 21-year-old, others were less believing in the doubt on the deal.
Given the source, we probably are

Name a better combo than the echo taking about Everton and “not being interested” in every player

What do we think?
While the initial report, which states that the Toffees are looking at a deal for around the €20-25-million mark (£18.2-£22.8m), seems the more unbelievable of the two due to his £49.5 million market value (per Transfermarkt), some fans were not convinced.
That being the first thing clear from supporters’ responses, that they disbelieve the Liverpool Echo, and the second being that they would love to see the 21-year-old Italian at Goodison Park.
