Supporters of Everton have been left in stitches after a tweet from the Toffees’ former man Tim Cahill during a question and answer session.
On Tuesday night, the retired Australian striker was answering questions from fans on Twitter and one supporter asked who the fastest player Cahill played with, to which he answered ‘Phil Neville when it was time to pay the bill’ (per Tim Cahill), which fans loved.

Surely he was even quicker running to Moyes when players were 5 minutes late for training.

If you could take a prime Tim Cahill and Phil Neville back at Goodison Park now, would you?Yes, they were classNo, we have better |
The Toffees’ former full-back, Neville, was situated at Goodison Park between 2005 and 2013, having arrived from Manchester United and finishing his career in Merseyside (per Transfermarkt).
Over the eight-year stay, the now England Women manager made 303 appearances, during which he netted five goals and bagged ten assists (per Transfermarkt). However, the tweet from Cahill still had fans in stitches at Neville’s expense.

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from Everton fans, they certainly enjoyed the outing of their former full-back as a little bit stingy by another of the Toffees’ former players (per Tim Cahill).
With the Australian 40-year-old having spent a large period at Goodison Park which overlapped with Neville, having been in Merseyside between 2004 and 2012 (per Transfermarkt), it is likely Cahill will know what Neville is like as well as anyone.
