Fans of Everton have been reacting to footage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that emerged on Twitter following the clash with Manchester United.

On Monday night, footage from the 1-1 draw on Sunday was posted to Twitter which showed the Norwegian manager going to speak to Andre Gomes after he was substituted off the pitch (per Everton News Feed), which supporters praised him for.

With the likely cause of Solskjaer’s words with the Portuguese midfielder having been due to his recent return from a fractured and dislocated ankle (per Daily Mail), fans aired their respect for the rival manager’s actions, as well as praying that he isn’t tapping him up to move to Manchester United.

What do we think?

The footage clearly shows a classy move from the Norwegian boss and it is great to see rivalries on the pitch being put aside after Gomes’ return from injury.

It is also great to see that Solskjaer’s act of class was appreciated by the Goodison Park faithful, who appear as though they will now look on the United gaffer a little more favourably.
