Has Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gone up in your estimation following the emergence of the footage?Yes, it was a classy moveNo, I'm not too fussed |
The former striker has been at the helm of the Red Devils in a permanent capacity now for 54 matches, during which the 47-year-old has a points per match total of 1.59 (per Transfermarkt).
With the likely cause of Solskjaer’s words with the Portuguese midfielder having been due to his recent return from a fractured and dislocated ankle (per Daily Mail), fans aired their respect for the rival manager’s actions, as well as praying that he isn’t tapping him up to move to Manchester United.

What do we think?
The footage clearly shows a classy move from the Norwegian boss and it is great to see rivalries on the pitch being put aside after Gomes’ return from injury.
It is also great to see that Solskjaer’s act of class was appreciated by the Goodison Park faithful, who appear as though they will now look on the United gaffer a little more favourably.
