Was what Jurgen Klopp did deserving of punishment from the officials? No, he's just showing passionYes, it was far too excessive |
The cause of the fury appeared to be after Carlo Ancelotti was sent off for his involvement with officials during the Toffees’ 1-1 draw with Manchester United (per TalkSPORT).
Everton’s Italian gaffer was then later charged with misconduct and fined £8,000 by the FA (per Everton), however, supporters were left furious as Liverpool’s German manager appeared to go without punishment for his actions.
No class doing stuff like that in people’s faces! They were hard done by the first goal but true champions don’t celebrate like that!

What do we think?
With supporters still clearly angry that Ancelotti was fined by the FA for confronting the officials following the game with the Red Devils (per Everton), it is perhaps no surprise that Klopp’s actions going unpunished caused further anger.
However, without knowing what the 60-year-old manager said to Chris Kavanagh to deserve his punishment, it is difficult to compare the two incidents.
