Supporters of Everton have aired that they want to see Ben Foster signed by the Toffees on a free transfer from Premier League rivals, Watford.
After the question was posed to supporters over who, if anyone, the Merseyside club should sign in the goalkeeper position over the summer (per Everton News Feed), supporters called for the Hornets’ stopper to be brought in.
?Everton’s Goalkeeper situation is a weird one. Maarten Stekelenburg’s contract is up in the summer. Jonas Lossl I would imagine will want a move. Joao Virginia needs a loan.
So Everton will likely need another goalkeeper to push Jordan Pickford.

Foster on a free, or Fabianski if he’s going cheap. Needs to be experienced but cost effective.

Who would you rather have as Everton's number one next season?Ben FosterJordan Pickford |
Over the duration of the season so far, the Watford ‘keeper has a 6.56/10 average rating in the Premier League (per WhoScored), which betters Jordan Pickford’s 6.35/10 in the league (per WhoScored).
With nine clean sheets in 29 league games (per Transfermarkt), Foster also betters Pickford in that respect, with the England stopper having kept just six clean sheets in 29 league games (per Transfermarkt).
Ben Foster.

What do we think?
As some Everton fans suggested, Watford’s 36-year-old Englishman’s contract is set to expire in the summer (per Transfermarkt) and would, therefore, be available for free.
However, having boasted better stats than Pickford over the season so far (per Transfermarkt), it would be a question over whether the ‘keeper would then want to be Everton’s current number one’s backup.
