To kick off this quiz of the goings-on with the Toffees last week, which Serie A goalkeeper was linked with a switch to the club?

Would you have a prime Tim Cahill back at Goodison Park now?

The retired forward spent eight years at Goodison Park as a player, having arrived from Millwall in 2004 and departing for New York Red Bulls in 2012 (per Transfermarkt).

While with the Toffees, Cahill bagged a solid 68 goals and 29 assists in 276 appearances (per Transfermarkt), which has evidently gained him the adoration of many Everton fans.

What do we think?

As can be judged from the responses from Everton supporters, Cahill is still held in incredibly high regard in the blue half of Merseyside.
