Sad thing is,Kevin Mirallas was an excellent player but thought he was better than he was, shame really could have been a big player for us?

He was tremendous on his day. Shame how it panned out

Could have done so much more if he knuckled down and quit thinking he was prime Ronaldo and to big for us. So gifted yet so inconsistent

Would you take a prime Kevin Mirallas back in Carlo Ancelotti's squad?Yes, he was class for us![]() No, he burned his bridges![]() |
The 32-year-old Royal Antwerp winger was situated on Merseyside between 2012 and the summer of 2019, having arrived from Olympiacos and departing for his current club on a free transfer (per Transfermarkt).
During his time with the Toffees, though, the Belgian spent his final year and a half with the club on loan, initially with Olympiakos in 2018, before joining Fiorentina during the 2018/19 season (per Transfermarkt).
If he had the brain and mentality to go with his ability, he probably could have played for all these top teams he wanted. Instead, only West Ham wanted him.

He was terrific, when he could be bothered!

Loads of ability, just a complete waster though.

Could have been one of the Everton greats but chose another road..

What do we think?
During his time with the Toffees, Mirallas made 186 appearances, in which he bagged 38 goals and 34 assists (per Transfermarkt), however, for his current club, he has just two goals and two assists in 21 games (per Transfermarkt).
As can be judged by the responses from Everton supporters, it is clear to see that many highly rated the Belgian, however, plenty feel as though wrong decisions led to his talents being wasted.
