Supporters of Everton have been gushing over footage of Jonjoe Kenny playing for the Toffees which emerged on social media.
On Thursday afternoon, @nsno_83 shared footage of the English defender wasting time in an away game against Newcastle United, which supporters loved.

The video of Kenny is from a 1-0 win at St. James’ Park in 2017 (per BBC), with the footage showing the 23-year-old winding down the clock towards the end of the game.
Kenny’s appearance against the Toon was one of just 40 appearances that he has made for the Toffees, during which he has scored zero and assisted three (per Transfermarkt), however, fans still showed that they were keen on the youngster.

@henders84 could have done with kenny at goodison in 90th minute this season vs Newcastle ?. This is quality to be fair. Especially for a kid with only like 10 1st team appearances at the time.

What do we think?
The 23-year-old defender is spending this season on a season-long loan with Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 (per BBC), during which he has picked up a 6.53/10 average rating in the league (per WhoScored).
Clearly, though, Everton supporters enjoyed the footage of their young defender time-wasting which, hopefully, he will get the chance at doing more of when he returns from his loan in Germany.
