Fans of Everton have fumed over the Premier League’s explanation as to why Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s late goal was disallowed against Manchester United.
As shared by beIN SPORTS, the Premier League believed that the goal was rightly chalked off as Gylfi Sigurdsson was in an offside position and obscuring the view of David de Gea (via Toffee TV), which left fans furious.

Should Dominic Calvert-Lewin's goal against Manchester United have stood?Yes, blatantly the wrong decisionNo, the Premier League are right |
The controversial decision came late in the clash at Goodison Park as Dominic Calvert-Lewin had looked to seal three points against the Red Devils, however, the video assistant referee deemed otherwise (per BBC).
The point apiece sees Everton remain in 11th position, trailing their opponents on Sunday, who are in fifth position, by five points (per BBC), however, supporters continued to air their frustrations.
The decision gets worse the more you see and hear about it, a player on the floor blocks the view of a 6ft4 keeper????? I’ve heard it all now

That’s ridiculous, what an absolute shambles

I’m an Everton fan and at first, I thought correct decision given but having heard the actual reason it was disallowed, now I’m fuming as De Gea was standing tall, Sig (who by the way should be pushing trolleys in Asda) was on the floor so no way was his view obstructed. ??

What do we think?
It is clear to see that Everton supporters are incredibly frustrated by the decision which they believe was made incorrectly with reasoning which is also incorrect in their view.
With Carlo Ancelotti having seen red for arguing with the officials over the decision after the game (per Everton), it was a double blow for the Toffees.
