Supporters of Everton have been airing their fury over a statement made by the FA on Carlo Ancelotti that was relayed by the club’s official Twitter account.
According to the statement, the 60-year-old Italian has been ‘charged with misconduct’ due to his behaviour towards the officials following the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday (as per Everton), which left fans livid.

Fred literally went chest to chest – making contact – with the referee and only saw yellow. ?

Hahaha get in the bin, assume the likes of Maguire & De Gea will be getting charged for misconduct too? Nah, thought not.

Typical, but Fred has a hissy fit and pushes the ref and gets a yellow card. Ha.
Welcome to life outside the top6 Mr Ancellotti, were it’s one rule for them and one for the rset— Cheryl swanick (@Cheryl01375906) March 2, 2020
Was Chris Kavanagh right to send off Carlo Ancelotti after the full-time whistle? No, he did nothing wrongYes, it was probably fair |
The red card for the former Real Madrid manager came after a controversial decision, which was made by VAR, to disallow a late Dominic Calvert-Lewin goal which would have won the game for the Toffees (per BBC).
Despite there being a divide amongst the football world as to whether the goal should have been disallowed (per inews), supporters continued to air their frustrations.
The corrupt @FA we know exactly where this is headed, the corrupt investigating the corrupt.

THE CLUB MUST APPEAL!
— Ken (@Kencelotti) March 2, 2020
Why are you reporting it like you aren’t involved?! You should be appealing the red card and making a statement that you feel it is very unfair and intend to fight these decisions.

Absolute joke

What do we think?
It is clear that the Football Association’s statement on Carlo Ancelotti has gotten under the skin of Everton supporters, who are still furious with the VAR decision from the clash with the Red Devils.
However, with Ancelotti insisting that he “did not disrespect” Chris Kavanagh following the game against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side (per BBC), an appeal could possibly be in the pipeline.
