An obvious contender for supporters would have been Anthony Gordon, who has made two Premier League appearances for the Toffees so far this season (per Transfermarkt).
However, the young Englishman has only picked up a 6.25/10 average rating over his two substitute outings (per WhoScored), leaving fans with a few other player suggestions to make.
Hard to choose between Anthony Gordon and Lewis Gibson. Will go for Gibson as a squad CB and will move further forward with Ancelotti. Think Gordon needs a season at championship level may prove to be more successful than Kieran Dowell was.

Have you seen Simms play? I hope he goes onto have a great career at Everton but from
What I seen of him he is miles behind Anthony Gordon! Just my opinion.— Paul (@murph1588) March 26, 2020
What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from supporters, Gordon and Ellis Simms appear to be the duo that the majority of fans are looking forward to seeing develop.
Having been tipped for success by Marco Silva prior to his sacking by the Toffees (per Liverpool Echo), it would appear that Gordon is destined to make an impact for Everton at some point.
