Cenk Tosun joined Crystal Palace from Everton during the January transfer window. However, he has since picked up a cruciate ligament injury that will keep him out of action until around September 2020.
This has resulted in the player prematurely ending his loan deal with the South London club and returning to Everton.
The Turkish striker hasn’t had much of an opportunity to showcase his talents to the Crystal Palace fans since joining, featuring in just five matches for the side for a combined 176 minutes of football.

Despite this lack of opportunity, Tosun’s short stint with Roy Hodgson’s side did have a major highlight. He scored a goal in Palace’s emphatic away draw against Manchester City in January.
When the club announced that the forward was returning back to his club, the fans shared their regrets. They are gutted for him and sad to see him leave.
Shame. Good luck Cenk ???

Will Cenk Tosun ever return to Crystal Palace?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Despite only getting a taste of the player, it is clear that these Palace fans hold Tosun, who is valued at £13.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), in high esteem. Should he ever make a return to Selhurst Park in the future, we can safely assume he will be welcomed back with open arms.
