According to the Daily Star, Crystal Palace are set to battle with West Ham and Chelsea for the signing of Fedor Chalov.
The report suggests that Palace had attempted, and failed, to bring the Russian to Selhurst Park for £14 million in the summer.
Despite underperforming from an impressive 2018/19 campaign, Chalov still has the attention of the three London based clubs.
This news was subsequently shared on Twitter by @CPFC_NEWS_HQ, which prompted fans to share their opinions on the rumour. Many think the club should have purchased the player in the summer and will lose out to other competition after leaving it too late. The Eagles missed out on signing Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen after West Ham jumped in at the last second this past January.
So he’ll be off to West Ham or Chelsea then.

Is there a time delay at hour club? We show interest in a player, wait 6 months then bid, get knocked back, wait a year or more then show interest again.

The report also indicated that Palace are interested in signing Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard. This news was also shared by the fan account. Some fans think the club should attempt to sign all three players. Others would be happy to snag just one of them.

If you could only sign one of these players, who would it be?
Fedor Chalov
Odsonne Edouard
Alfredo Morelos
What do we think?
The club are desperate to sign an out-and-out goalscorer at the moment. Currently, no player has recorded more than 10 goals for Palace this season.
There is no surprise that the club are looking all over Europe to find a new leading man.
