This week marks the 10th anniversary of Wilfried Zaha’s Crystal Palace debut. He was introduced into the Eagles’ game against Cardiff City, replacing Stern John in the 80th minute.
Sadly for Palace, they were unable to win that Championship match, losing 2-1. The loss also kept the Eagles in the relegation zone, four points behind Watford.
Palace were deducted 10 points for entering administration that season but managed to stay afloat by just two points by the time the last league match was played.
But when the club reminded fans of the day Zaha made his debut, many supporters admitted that he is the greatest, or most skilful, player to ever pull on a Palace kit.

What do we think?
Zaha made the move to Manchester United in 2013 for £10.58 million, before being loaned out to Cardiff City, of all teams. However, his time at Manchester United didn’t work out, and he moved back to Palace in 2015 for just £3.42 million.
At the end of the day, Zaha’s true home seems to be Palace, with him making 353 appearances for the side, scoring 56 goals and registering 70 assists.
