With the Premier League currently in lockdown, fans have resorted to rewatching old footage to keep themselves entertained. However, it appears as if some footballers are doing the same as well.
This past weekend Wilfried Zaha retweeted highlights of Christian Benteke during his time at Aston Villa. The footage was originally posted by @leelloyd_AV, an Aston Villa fan, on Twitter.
The footage was then shared by @MarvinNMorgan, the owner of the clothing brand Fresh Ego Kid, which caught the attention of Zaha.
Zaha suggested that his Crystal Palace teammate deserves a lot of respect for his career achievements.
But it wasn’t just Aston Villa fans enjoying this footage of Benteke. Crystal Palace supporters were also quick to compliment the player. They hope that he can return to this kind of form for their club.

What do we think?
During the 2016/17 season, the Belgian scored 15 goals in 36 games for Palace. This season, he has scored just once in fewer matches.
However, he is yet to show a similar goal scoring rate than his time at Aston Villa, where he scored 49 goals in just 101 appearances.
