This past weekend Crystal Palace managed to win their third win in a row after dispatching Watford in the Premier League. The win came courtesy of a Jordan Ayew goal in the 28th minute of the match. The goal was assisted by James McArthur.
The Eagles posted footage of the play from a unique angle during the week, which sparked many fans to discuss the incredible buildup to the goal.
The Palace fans praised the influence of Christian Benteke during the buildup, who can be seen receiving a ball from McArthur before turning off his man and driving into space.

Benteke is no longer thinking of himself as a striker whose primary job is to score goals and it’s working wonders for his game. https://t.co/jT0kTX3rH5

Some fans thought McArthur deserved a special shoutout for, not only starting the passage of play but for playing the critical ball to Ayew before his finish.
Love that Jimmy Mac picking up the ball on the edge of our box and then 3 passes later getting the assist in the Watford box #boxtobox

Who were you most impressed with during the goal?
Jordan Ayew
James McArthur
Christian Benteke
What do we think?
The footage shows just how impressive the overall goal was. Not only was Ayew’s finish a thing of beauty, but it also capped off some clever link-up play from the Palace players.
Roy Hodgson will be hoping that his side can continue to play this way when they travel to Bournemouth on the weekend.
