Crystal Palace players are currently on hiatus from football at the moment. The league is currently postponed, with April 4, 2020, being the scheduled return date. However, this hasn’t stopped Eagles players from interacting with their fan base online.
This became evident after Vicente Guaita responded to the father of a young fan who admitted that his daughter was being bullied at school for wearing a Crystal Palace kit.
The Spanish shot-stopper responded to the tweet, claiming that he wanted to see the fan’s daughter at the side’s next home game, where he would give the youngster his gloves.
It was a generous offer, one that the father immediately accepted. Crystal Palace fans praised the goalkeeper’s generosity.

Is Vicente Guaita the best Crystal Palace keeper of all time?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Guaita’s performances off the field aren’t the only reason he is so adored by fans. He has an average performance rating of 6.82/10 for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, according to WhoScored.
Funnily enough, backup goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has the highest average score of any Palace player in the Premier League, with a 7.25/10 average rating, despite playing just two games.
But judging by these fans, Hennessey would be hard-pressed to achieve the level of respect that Guaita has earned from the Palace faithful off the field.
