This week, one Crystal Palace fan posted a video on Twitter of his son training in the garden while chanting Jordan Ayew’s name. He admitted that the young fan had been pretending to be Ayew ever since he went to watch the Eagles play against Watford FC.
The match against Watford was the last one Palace played before the league was postponed, and Ayew scored the match-winning goal in the 1-0 victory for Roy Hodgson’s side.
Ayew responded to the fan, admitting that Palace’s chairman should sign the young fan up. He also offered to send the child a signed shirt at the soonest convenience.
When Palace fans saw the player’s tweet, they praised his generosity. Here is how some of the fans reacted to Ayew’s tweet.
Love it

Anybody we sign in future must have the work ethic, humanity, and kindness of Jordan. Forget big signings. I would take 11 Jordan’s any day. True Red & Blue.

What do we think?
Ayew has played in 28 Premier League games this season, scoring eight goals and assisting one.
He has also scored one goal in each of Palace’s last two games. The two goals were both the match winners in 1-0 victories against Watford and Brighton.
