Crystal Palace walked away from their match against Brighton with all three points this past weekend. The result not only helped the Eagles further separate themselves from the risk of relegation, but it also gives them bragging rights over their rivals until the two sides meet again.
And while the fans will obviously be thrilled with the result, the club itself is also milking the win.
Crystal Palace fan @AmieElle posted a screenshot showcasing a recent email sent from the club. It read, ‘Dunk these in your basket’ with a link to the club’s store. When the link was clicked, it showcased a picture of Brighton’s Lewis Dunk on the floor after Jordan Ayew scored the winner.
The banter was well received by the Palace fans.

What do we think?
What would football be without banter between rival fans? This harmless fun is the kind of stuff everyone can, and should, get behind.
Although, we don’t think Brighton fans will agree right now.
