Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest claims made concerning a Villa Park exit for Jack Grealish.
This comes after Villa news account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page that included an article from the Birmingham Mail relaying quotes made by Paul Robinson on the Villa club captain.
Talking to Football Insider, Robinson claimed that Grealish, as well as John McGinn, Tyrone Mings and Tom Heaton will leave the club if they are relegated back to the Championship at the end of the season.
Will Jack Grealish leave Villa if they are relegated?
Yes, probably
No, he will stay faithful to Villa
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who took the time to share their thoughts on this latest comment from the former goalkeeper.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

To be honest if we are relegated I hope he does. He is Villa totally but at his peak he should be playing top club football. I for one as a over 59 yrs supporting Villa want him to do well and I hope other Villans agree. He deserves champions league football

That’s unfortunately a fact. He wouldn’t be quitting tho. He has to move on with his career and playing in the championship is not the direction his career should be heading in. He’s given us everything so he deserve to move on if we drop.

Of course we agree you can’t have Jack being hacked round the Championship anymore, he’s done his time if we go down he has to leave.

The 24-year-old has been Villa’s best player so far this year with a current season rating of 7.33/10 according to WhoScored. Grealish is currently the club’s top scorer with seven, but also has more assists, passes and shots than any other Villa player in the Premier League this season (per Premier League). Now that Robinson has come out and claimed that Grealish would leave the club should Villa fail to survive the drop this season, many fans of the club have been reluctantly agreeing with him.
Yes and I wouldn’t blame him.

What do we think?
It’s good to see these Villa fans wanting the best for Grealish and his career, even if that means him not playing at Villa anymore. This shows the respect and appreciation they have for their club captain and his future in football.
