The Australian spent the last three years of his playing career at Villa before retiring in 2019 (per Transfermarkt). In 80 appearances for the Birmingham club, Jedinak managed to score two goals and provide two assists along the way (per Transfermarkt). Now that it has been revealed that Jedinak has now returned to Villa in a coaching capacity, this news has delighted a lot of Villa fans on Twitter.

It’s great to see Jedinak getting into coaching back at his previous club where he spent his last seasons as a player. The reaction from these Villa fans just goes to show how well-liked and respected the former midfield man still is at the club.
