Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest transfer rumour concerning Villa youngster Jaden Philogene-Bidace.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by Pete O’Rourke via Football Insider.
The report claimed that Arsenal have joined Manchester City in the race to secure the 17-year-old’s services this summer.
Should Villa keep hold of Philogene-Bidace or cash in?
Keep him, he could be useful
Sell him and get the money
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their thoughts on this latest development.

Losing young talent is the opposite of what our owners are looking to do.

We cant let him go

The teenager currently plays as a left-winger in Villa’s U18 squad where he has managed to register six goals and provide one assist in 15 games for the side (per Transfermarkt). Now that news has emerged that two Premier League club are interested in the youngster, this has paved the way for lots of Villa fans to share their thoughts on Twitter and their hope to see the club keep hold of the winger.
We might get relegated… not a time to be selling youngsters who could be important in the worst of scenarios next year

Why are we letting him go? We should be telling all the clubs to get stuffed and build our team around our own talent rather than having to pay over the odds in a couple of years
— Holly ? (@HollyJen86) March 7, 2020
Why don’t we join the race and give him a better contract?
— Paul Tomlinson (@PaulTomlinsonn) March 7, 2020
What do we think?
In his handful of appearances for the Villa U18 side this season, Philogene-Bidace has shown he is a goalscoring threat from the wing. The replies from this post just shows how much the Villa fans want to see the winger remain at the Birmingham club for the future.
