Aston Villa fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news regarding striker Mbwana Samatta.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page that included an article from the Birmingham Mail.
The article relayed news originally posted in a report by Fotomac via Sport Witness that Turkish side Galatasaray are interested in signing Samatta from Villa this summer.
Should Villa keep or cash in on Samatta if they get relegated?
Keep him

Cash in

This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were keen to have their say on this latest development.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

Nah. He’s gonna stay in the prem either way

He’s been with us 10 mins. This is total nonsense

If he actually played in the Championship with us I think him and Wes would bag 20 each minimum

The striker recently joined the Birmingham club in the previous January transfer window from Belgian side KRC Genk for a fee of £9.45 million (per Transfermarkt). After making just six appearances for the Birmingham club, Samatta has already been linked with a move away from Villa Park. This news then gathered a big reaction on Twitter.
Depending on what league were in but if relegated, who can blame him if he went, Champs league football every year.
But if we stay up I think he’ll choose to stay— Mike Knott (@MikeKnott10) March 30, 2020
Hahaha. Thanks.

Should get a good chunk of money for him! don’t see us keeping any big players for next season anyway so might as well cash in on them!

What do we think?
It seems unlikely that Samatta would leave the club he has just arrived at. But with Villa currently in the relegation zone, if they were to get relegated then he could possibly leave for another club.
