Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest reported news surrounding the upcoming Euro 2020 tournament.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in The Telegraph that UEFA “will consider moving Euro 2020 to December in a bid to allow the Premier League and other club competitions to catch up this summer” after the recent viral outbreak.
Should the Euro 2020 tournament be held in December?
Yes, that would be suitable
No, that would be stupid
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this update.

Due to this recent global pandemic, all English football has been postponed until early April, with the future of the Premier League and Euro 2020 tournament still up in the air. Now that it has been reported that the international tournament could be moved back to December this year, this news has not gone down well with a lot of Villa fans who couldn’t hide their feelings on this latest idea.

Not moving enough , needs to go into 2021 to do any good

What do we think?
It’s understandable why these Villa fans don’t think hosting the tournament in December would be such a good idea as international tournaments are almost always played in the summer months. UEFA and the other footballing authorities will need to strike a suitable balance between health and safety and trying to keep disruption down as much as possible.
