Or maybe think about it. Because you’re playing like you want it.

He made it through the interview without faking an injury and rolling on the floor? Props to the guy, a new beginning is among us.

Villa are currently sitting in the relegation zone of the Premier League in 19th place with just 25 points from 28 matches (per BBC Sport). So far this season, El Ghazi has made 31 appearances for Dean Smith’s side in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing seven assists (per Transfermarkt). Now that the Belgian has come out and said that the players are not currently thinking about the possibility of being relegated this season, this has not gone down well with some Villa fans.
Yes think about relegation, think about relegation all the time and play like your life depends on not going down ?
Then we will probably stay up ?— Richard Hitchcox (@rich_hitchcox) March 12, 2020

Words are cheap. It’s actions we want.

What do we think?
It’s understandable why these Villa fans arent too pleased with El Ghazi’s words. The fans would want their players to be aware of the danger the club are currently in with regards to relegation so that they can focus on avoiding it at all costs.
