Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to praise full-back Ahmed Elmohamady.
This comes after the official Villa Twitter account shared a post on their page relaying a quote from the defender after being asked what his favourite moment in English football is.
In a recent Q&A with the club website, the Egyptian revealed that winning promotion with Villa back to the Premier League is his best moment in England.
This post then gathered a handful of replies from Villa fans who were quick to return Elmohamady’s admission with their praise for him.

The 32-year-old first came to England after signing a loan deal with Sunderland from Egyptian side Enppi SC back in 2010 (per Transfermarkt). Elmohamady then signed to Villa from previous club Hull City in 2017. Since then, the full-back has gone on to make 107 appearances for the Birmingham club, scoring three goals and providing 18 assists in the process (per Transfermarkt). Now that Elmohamady’s comments on his favourite moment in England being with Villa and their recent promotion success, this has given lots of Villa fans the chance to praise the defender on Twitter.

It’s nice to see Elmohamady saying his best moment in England has been gaining promotion with Villa. Understandably, these comments have gone down very well with these Villa fans who clearly appreciate the defender for his efforts as a Villan.
