Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to recently posted footage of striker Wesley.
This comes after the official Villa Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained a video of the Brazilian’s first goal for the club in the Premier League.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share their thoughts on Wesley and his first goal in a Villa shirt.
Who would you start to lead the line for Villa?
Wesley
Mbwana Samatta
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

The striker joined the Birmingham club in the previous summer transfer window from Club Brugge for a club-record fee of £22.5 million (per Transfermarkt). Unfortunately for the 23-year-old, his debut season at Villa was prematurely cut short after he picked up a season-ending injury back in January. Now that the club has posted footage of Wesley’s first goal for the club in their 2-0 win against Everton at the start of the season, this has led to lots of Villa fans replying with their thoughts on the striker.
Must be the greatest feeling ???

What do we think?
It’s good to see the club sharing one of Wesley’s best moments for the club whilst he is out of action through injury. Based on these replies, it appears that the Villa fans are looking forward to seeing the 23-year-old return to action for the club.
