The striker captioned his story with the phrase “the work continues” in Portuguese.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were happy to see their centre-forward getting active again.

The 23-year-old suffered a serious knee injury back in January during Villa’s 2-1 win over Burnley at Turf Moor earlier in the season. Now that this footage of Wesley working on his recovery has made its way onto Twitter, this has given lots of Villa fans the opportunity to share their delight at seeing him getting back to fitness.
That’s a great sight, good luck Wes

What do we think?
It’s great to see Wesley overcoming his injury that has disrupted his debut season in the Premier League with the Birmingham club. The positive and supportive reaction to Wesley’s update from these Villa fans is also nice to see. This shows that they are excited for their record transfer signing to return to action.
