Aston Villa fans have been gushing on Twitter over the latest comments made by former Villan Marc Albrighton.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Albrighton to Leicestershire Live after Leicester City’s FA Cup win over Birmingham City in midweek.
After the match, Albrighton swapped shirts with his former Villa teammate Gary Gardner. When asked what he would be doing with the shirt, Albrighton joked that he will wash his car with it.

The Englishman, who is currently valued at £9 million according to Transfermarkt, left Villa Park back in 2014 on a free transfer to Leicester (per Transfermarkt). Now that Albrighton’s latest dig at Birmingham City made its way around Twitter, this caught the attention of a lot of Villa fans who were delighted to see their former man take aim at their rivals.
