Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest transfer rumour concerning the Birmingham club.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally published in an article by Football Insider.
The article claimed that Villa are “plotting a summer loan move” for Wolves defender Dion Sanderson.

The 20-year-old defender is currently on a loan deal at Cardiff City until the end of the season (per Transfermarkt). In his previous match for the Welsh side, Sanderson was awarded a match rating of 8.3 for his performance in Cardiff’s 2-0 win over Barnsley where he assisted the second goal of the game (per WhoScored). Despite this impressive performance for Cardiff, the idea of Villa making a loan move for Sanderson in the summer didn’t go down well with a lot of Villa supporters.

What do we think?
Given that Villa are currently sat in the relegation zone of the Premier League table, it’s understandable why these Villa fans are a bit disappointed with the club being linked with a player currently playing in the Championship.
