Great player in a really good side, can’t believe he only had 49 apps and featured well in so many games in this clip!

The Englishman made 123 appearances for the Birmingham club where he managed to score 22 goals and provide 25 assists (per Transfermarkt). The 2009/10 season saw Milner score 12 goals and provide 16 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions that season. Now that the footage from that season has been doing the rounds on Twitter, this has given lots of Villa fans the opportunity to share their appreciation for the midfielder.

What do we think?
It’s great to see these Villa fans taking the time to look back and praise Milner, who is valued at £7.2 million (as per Transfermarkt), for his efforts for the club during the 2009/10 season. This shows that they still have fond memories of Milner and his time as a Villa player.
