The 23-year-old, alongside goalkeeper Tom Heaton, suffered a season-ending knee injury in Villa’s 2-1 win over Burnley back in January. Now that footage has emerged on Twitter of Wesley walking with a knee brace on, this has given lots of Villa fans the opportunity to share their well-wishes to their striker.
We’ve missed Big Wes so much! Love to the Brazillian!??

What do we think?
It’s great to see Wesley making progress in his recovery from such a bad injury. While he was ruled out for the rest of the season, it’s good to see so many Villa fans getting behind their striker and sharing their positive messages to the Brazilian. The hope for Wesley now would be that he can come back and make an impact for his team next season.
