Some West Brom fans have shown appreciation for Hal Robson-Kanu’s ‘priceless contributions’ to their impressive form this season.

The Baggies’ official Twitter account recently posted to commend the contributions of the Welsh attacker to his side’s performances of late, stating that Robson-Kanu had put in “some tremendous shifts over the last couple of weeks”. Many West Brom fans shared the same sentiment in response to the appreciation for Robson-Kanu’s recent displays.

The Welsh attacker has made 27 Championship appearances for the Baggies this season, starting in 17 of those games. He has scored a total of seven goals thus far in the 2019/20 Championship season.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Robson-Kanu has previously scored a total of seven league goals twice before in his professional career, however, he has never scored more than seven league goals in a single league season. This means that the 30-year-old is currently on course to deliver his highest-scoring campaign should he net once more for the Baggies.

What do we think?

Robson-Kanu has already bested his Championship goalscoring tally from last season by three goals with 13 games left to play in the league season. He also currently trails the Baggies’ top league goalscorer this season, Charlie Austin, by just one goal. Given the improvement of the 30-year-old’s numbers in front of goal, it may be fair to consider him one of West Brom’s most improved players this season.
