Some West Brom fans have shared love for Matheus Pereira on social media following the Baggies’ impressive weekend win over Bristol City.
Pereira started West Brom’s weekend win and played a total of 85 minutes before being substituted for Matt Phillips. However, the Brazilian playmaker managed to deliver an impressive enough performance in Saturday’s fixture to draw plenty of praise from the Baggies faithful on social media.
It may be fair to say that Saturday’s performance was a relatively lowkey one by Pereira’s recent standards. The 23-year-old playmaker failed to make a direct goal contribution in Saturday’s game, which he had done in each of his three Championship appearances prior to the Baggies’ most recent game.
