Some West Brom fans have taken to social media to call for Callum Robinson to move to the club permanently at the end of his current loan deal.

The Republic of Ireland international joined the Baggies on loan from Sheffield United in January. Robinson has made an immediate impression on some West Brom fans with his impressive performances for the Baggies since joining. The 25-year-old has scored two goals and made one assist in his six Championship appearances for the current league leaders so far.

In addition to that, Robinson has earned an average overall rating of 7.43 from his six Championship appearance for West Brom thus far. Robinson currently has the highest average overall rating of any West Brom player for the 2019/20 Championship season, according to WhoScored.

The 25-year-old attacker recently took to Twitter to share his praise of West Brom captain Jake Livermore, as West Brom’s official Twitter account shared a short clip from a recent interview featuring the club captain. Robinson’s post showed his admiration for 30-year-old Livermore.

Some Baggies supporters have responded to Robinson’s recent show of appreciation for the West Brom captain by calling on the loanee to turn his current loan deal at the Hawthorns into a permanent one. Read the calls from some fans for Robinson to join the club on a permanently in the tweets below.

Will West Brom sign Callum Robinson permanently?

What do we think?

Robinson, who is valued at £6.3 million (as per Transfermarkt), didn’t feature heavily for Sheffield United in the Premier League this season. The 25-year-old attacker accumulated a total of just 676 Premier League minutes for the Blades between August and January, while he has already played a total of 470 minutes for West Brom in just under a month since arriving at the club.

Robinson has also made one more goal contribution for West Brom in his six Championship appearances than he did in his 676 minutes of Premier League game time this season.

Should the current league leaders continue their current run of form and successfully achieve promotion to the Premier League, they may have a strong chance of luring the Irish international in on a permanent deal, considering the important role and impressive form he has enjoyed at the club so far.
