Some Tottenham fans have been raving about a video involving Danny Rose praising Mousa Dembele as the best player he has ever played with.
The left-back joined Newcastle United on a loan deal in this past January transfer window, with the England international set to stay at St. James’ Park till the end of the season. When Rose was asked in an interview with NUFCTV about who was the best player he has ever played with, he replied with his former Tottenham teammate.
Is Dembele the best Tottenham player you've seen?
Without a doubt!
Not sure about it
The video went viral on social media. A Spurs fan posted it on Twitter and many Tottenham fans were raving about Dembele.
Moussa Dembele is just unbelievable, the lad mastered the basics, dribbling, tackling, passing, he got all of that yet he doesn’t get the respect he deserves.

He was capable of breaking opponents both figuratively and literally physically. Had that last purple patch for us in Jan/Feb 2018 when he destroyed Everton, Man Utd and Juve’s midfielders. Literally ran rings round them and left them destroyed in his wake.

When I met Ledley King all I could talk about was how good Moussa Dembele was and he agreed

Even if Dembele stayed to come off the bench for 35 min a match it would’ve been worth it to keep him.

Spurs signed Dembele from London rivals Fulham in the summer of 2012 when they had activated a £15 million release clause in his contract.
Both Rose and Dembele were part of the Spurs side that finished second in the Premier League in the 2016/17 season under Mauricio Pochettino. Dembele left Spurs in the winter of 2019 to join Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F for £11 million.
What do we think?
It isn’t just Rose who praised Dembele. Even Pochettino compared Dembele to Diego Maradona and Ronaldinho, which shows that the Belgian certainly was a fine talent during his peak years in North London.
