Sunderland’s 2-0 loss to Portsmouth on the weekend was a frustrating result for Black Cats fans to take. The club were shut-out for the eighth time since Phil Parkinson took charge and dropped out of a play-off spot in the process, with Portsmouth leapfrogging them in the table with a game in hand.
After the match, salt was rubbed into the wounds when Roker Report posted a blooper of George Dobson during the game. The blooper shows him attempting to thump the ball up the field, but mistiming his kick, leaving him on the floor with the ball rolling out of play for a Portsmouth throw-in. Sunderland fans were exasperated with the footage. One thinks the clip sums up his Sunderland career.
Wow ??

Is Dobson good enough for Sunderland?
Yes
No
One supporter doesn’t think the club can achieve promotion with him in the midfield, while another thinks the lads need to seriously bounce back on Wednesday.
We’re not getting promoted with him in midfield

We have all been there back with a bang next weekend it’s not over yet

What do we think?
The blooper doesn’t flatter Dobson at all. But with the race for promotion being as tight as it is, the player needs to be on his best form if he is to help his side get back to the Championship.
